Hamilton Range is that extension of Nail Can Hill and the main ridge trail goes from Centaur Rd, Lavington to Urana Rd at the Jindera Gap.
This walk will explore old trails that leave the main Ridge Trail. Ones to explore include the gully trail, MBT, nesting box trail, and Brooders Trail. Mostly undulating or steady climbing trails. Nothing too steep.
Meet at 9am on Centaur Rd, Lavington (gravel road end) where the Nail Can Hill Ridge Trail (that heads into Albury) meets the Hamilton Range Ridge Trail (that heads to the Jindera Gap).
No toilets are near this walk, except back in Lavi town. Due to recent rain it may be wet underfoot in some locations so have adequate footware.
dogs OK (but there are kangaroos and wallabies around)
Bring hat, water and a morning tea snack. Coffee and cake/lunch afterwards in Lavi for those interested.
Any late cancellations please call me on 0456 100 183
