Hike Brief Camp at the Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park where a campsite for 4 adults has been booked for Friday to Sunday. The cost is $61.75 for 2 nights per person. Each day will require car pooling.  This hike is capped at 4 people due to the campsite limit, however another campsite may be sourced for an additional 4 people. Only 1 vehicle can be parked on the campsite and it will have kitchenware and space to store items. The campsite is powered and is close to a pub so nightly meals can be sourced from the venue.  The Friday walk will be a short one depending on when everyone arrives. It starts at the Point Impossible trackhead and we walk to Winki Pop, Bells Beach for 11.1 kms. The walk will take approximately 2.5 hrs, followed by a beach walk or swim in the afternoon. On Saturday we start at Winki Pop, Bells Beach and walk to Point Roadknight Beach for 14.5 kms. This section will take approximately 3.5 hrs and can also be followed by a lesiurely swim in the beach and/or exploring the town of Anglesea. Sunday's walk starts from Point Roadknight Beach and finishes at Fairhaven Beach covering 10.7 km, taking approximately 2.5 hrs and maybe a quick swim before heading back towards Albury and concluding the walk.  WHAT TO BRING Day Walking Current Medical Information Form - LOGIN FIRST  and then it can be FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE  Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk Sunscreen Gloves and hat Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event  Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants Walking poles Gaiters Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator Torch or headlamp for contingencies Swimmers and towel GRADE 3 Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps. The Surf Coast Walk is an adventure that boasts total immersion in nature and the sanctuary of coastal villages within easy reach along the way. This world-class 44-kilometre multi-use trail is located at the start of the Great Ocean Road region from Torquay to Aireys Inlet. The trail’s easy access and 12 trail heads make it perfect for short, long or multi-day experiences.
