Abseiling For Beginners

This is an easy 14 metre abseil at the old Albury Quarry. The walk from the bottom to the top is easy and takes about 2 minutes.

Meet at the carpark on Riverview Terrace Albury near the Albury quarry and below Monument Hill - access is from the Riverina Highway - google map here

Cost $55.00 per session for club members and $85.00 per session for non club members.

Cash payment required on the day.

Included:

1. Abseil and Saftey instruction.
2. All Abseiling eqyipment. Bring your own gloves for health reasons.

Abseilers need to bring:

1. A hat, sunsmart clothing and sunscrean.
2. Drinking water. (minimum 2 liters)
3. Snacks.
4. Hiking Boots.
5. Gloves. eg leather gardening gloves.

Warning!!!!!!

Abseiling for beginners is highly recomended if you havn't abseiled before you participate in Intermediate and Advanced Abseiling, Caving and Canyoning trips run by the club.

Illicit drugs or alcohol are not to be consumed while you are participating in MVB Abseiler activities and you cannot participate in abseiling activities with the MVB Abseilers if you are affected by illicit drugs or alcohol consumed prior to the commencement of this activity.
