Due to Trevors condition we will walk  back after Pretty plain Hut along Dargals Trail to Tooma Pondage were we will drop some cars bevore the Walk. Pretty Plain Hut to Tooma Pondage is 20 km !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! approx 45 km all up

Meeting 10am at Clover Flat on the Khancoban Cabramurra RD.     Jan, Lisa and I will be camping there on Thursday night.

The Day before we need to drop a car(s) at Bourke Gorge Rd, and then camp at Clover Flat on Khancoban Cabramurra Rd.

Day 1, we walk along Snakey plain track for an an over night camp at Wheeler's Hut approx 9 km

Day 2, around 15 km to Pretty plain hut, 2 river crossings and 6 km off track walking. To avoid bush bashing we decided to stick to the track and do the river crossings.

Day 3, approx15 km to the next camp. Along a foot pad up the valley to the  Strumbo trail, turn right and follow Strumbo to where it meets Dargals Trail- approx. 5.5 km.

From this T junction, turn left and head south along Dargals Trail for around 5 km till we meet Granite Knob Trail, and continue for another 5 km. We then follow the power line until Bourke Gorge rd.There we walk 1.2km in the opposite direction along Bourke Gorge Rd, for an over night camp at Cascade Creek Aqueduct.

Day 3 , 10.5 km along Bourke Gorge Rd. (gravel rd.) to the car(s).

Pretty Plain Hut burned down in 2003 and was rebuild in 2009

Bring watershoes for the river crossing
