Due to COVID-19 health requirements, members must provide their own sanitisers, gloves, wipes, masks, etc. If car pooling is required please contact the event co-ordinator.
Due to NSW/Vic border closures members and guests who reside in Victoria will need a border crossing permit.
Normal social distancing rules will apply. If 1.5m cannot be maintained then a mask needs to be worn; particularly if car pooling is used.
This walk will explore the trails and bike tracks in the Kalianna and Gap Road areas of Nail Can Hill and the small section of NCH on the eastern side of Gap Road.
We will meet in the carpark behind the old tech college and Kalianna buildings.
Access to the driveway is from the northern end of Sackville Street before it becomes the Gap Road that takes a left turn and heads up the hill. Do not attempt to enter the driveway after coming down Gap Road; just proceed on to the roundabout and come back to turn left into the driveway.
Bring hat, water and a morning tea snack. DOGS ok.
No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.
GRADE 3
Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.
