Discover Alburys vibrant public art scene!
This is an easy guided short walking tour that delves into the stories and the creative processes behind Albury's captivating murals and installations.
First, we meet at 1230 on the corner of Kiewa Sree Carpark (parking Paradise at Kiewa St carpark) where we we will observe an artist at work on a mural. It will be a great opportunity to meet the artist and ask some questions. Then we will take a 6 min walk to see 5 distinctive artworks within the CBD
After about 40 minutes we finish up at QEII Square and from there will seek coffee and cake!
Please note Participation in this tour will require you to walk outdoors for approximately 600m.
Surfaces include bitumen, gravel, concrete, grass and brick. Attendees are advised to wear flat closed-in shoes and sun-safe attire. Please bring an umbrella if there are light showers.
This event is a free but ticketed event - I have secured 8 tickets in total for MVBW members.
Unfortunately this is not a dog friendly event.
Grade 1: No bushwalking experience required
Predominantly flat hard surfaces outdoors. Comfortable shoes, hat and water if required. Money for cafe!
