Cooling dip in the Little River
We put in on the Parlour Creek near it's junction with the Murray. Paddled a short distance along the Murray before heading off into Victoria travelling down Snarts Creek for 3km.

We re-entered the Murray and after 4km we turned off into NSW and travelled along the Little River for 3km then back into the Murray for 1km before heading into Victoria again and completing the final 6km along Murphys Ck to finish at the popular Shaws Flat camping Reserve.
Canadian in the Murphy Creek
Along the way we saw Cockatoos, Kookaburras, cows and watched a black snake swim across the river. Only one capsize; successfully rescued (we're still ahead of our acceptable loss rate). One lunch stop with a swim on the Little River with another swim at Shaws Flat.
route taken jan23
