Harringtons Trail

Location Bunroy Valley, approximately 40 min. from Corryong (07.00 AM start in Corryong) 20km return, Grade 3 walk up and down along the Murray River to Surveyors creek and back. 

We do need Cars whit a bit of ground clearance  to travel the last 3 km to the start of this walk.

Carpooling from Corryong

Barbara and Lauri offered floor space in there house or camp space in the garden for Friday and Saturday night, or stay at the Khancoban caravan park.

Event Report June 2016

Harrington track walk
Some short up and downs along the Murray River. We will visit the tree where Jack Riley died on the 15th of July 1914(the man from snowy river) 
 Barbara has offered for us to stay at her and Laurie's place in Cudgewa on Friday evening. Let me know if you like to stay there.

Event Grade 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.

What To Bring For Day Walking
  • Current Medical Information Form FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE
  • Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves and hat
  • Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event 
  • Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
  • Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants
  • Walking poles
  • Gaiters
  • Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator
  • Torch or headlamp for contingencies
