Beginner Snowshoeing / Cross Country ski

The club has received funds to encourage members to give winter sports in the mountains a try. After the successful first days in 2013 here is a another opportunity to try snowshoeing or cross country skiing at Falls Creek at bargain basement price. The club now owns two sets of snowshoes and poles. This will be a day trip to Windy Corner at Falls Creek from where we can hire equipment if required and take a leisurely stroll to the Nordic Bowl (about 750m gently uphill). If you can walk you can safely ski or snowshoe and you will be surprised how quickly you get warm. Appropriate clothing required of course - contact Jan for more information.
