Easy Abseiling
This is an easy 16 metre abseil at the old Albury Quarry. The walk from the bottom to the top is easy and takes about 2 minutes.
The session runs for approximatly 2 & 1/2 - 3 hours.
Meet at the walking track at the end of Riverview Terrace. Riverview Terrace access is from the Riverina Highway - google map here
Cost $65.00 per session for club members and $75.00 per session for non club members which includes insurance cover.
Cash payment required on the day.
5 people are required to run this event.
Included:
- Abseil and Saftey instruction.
- Abseiling equipment. Bring your own gloves for health reasons.

Abseilers need to bring:
- A hat, sunsmart clothing and sunscrean.
- Drinking water. (2 liters)
- Snacks.
- Hiking boots or runners.
- Gloves. eg leather gardening gloves.
Important Information:
Alcohol or illicit drugs are not to be consumed while you are participating in MVB Abseiler activities and you cannot participate in abseiling activities with the MVB Abseilers if you are affected by illicit drugs or alcohol consumed prior to the commencement of this activity.
A minimum age if 14 years old is required to participate in our Abseiling activities.
All participants must fill out an Informatiom and Health Form. Participants under 18 years old are required to have an Information and Health Form and a consent form filled out and signed by their parent or legal guardian. This can be filled out on the day or obtained from Neil on request.
All participants, parents or legal guardians must read the appropriate Risk Management Form under the Risk Management Tab on the clubs web site. I will also have a copy of this form with me at the Abseil site.
