Join us for the second and third stages of the the grand tour of north east towns from Baranduda to Chiltern.

The second stage is a day hike from the bakery at Yackandandah to the bakery at Beechworth,

Meet at the Yackandadah Bakery 8am Saturday Morning we will make our way along the Yack creek to the gorge and then to Beechworth with visits to Wombat and Rechabite mines and past Lake Kerford. Some walking will be off track AND  we may be late getting into Beechworth, meaning bring a TORCH or Headlamp.  The walk is about 18 plus KM some steep sections and creek crossing. Please be prepared with sufficient food and water.

After a great walk on Saturday and the evenings festivities, Sunday's walk will be a return loop to Woolshed falls starting from the Powder Magazine car park 10 am with lunch at Woolshed Falls and then return to Beechworth via the Precipice and One Tree hill.

If you dont want the challenge of Saturday walk come join us on Sunday, or even just the Saturday evening at Lake Sambell Caravan Park. I have booked a powered site (to recharge our electronics etc) and have been assured there are plenty empty sites for tents.  Ive arranged for a fire bucket and some wood for Saturday evening. For more information message or call Peter.
