Ski de Femme Grade 2-3 Cross country Ski Weekend

Di Ross has kindly offered the use of her cottage for Ski de Femme participants on the Saturday night so you can learn to ski on Saturday, share what youve learnt on the Sat night in Mt Beauty and put it into practice on the Sunday. 

There is 1 Queen bed and 2 singles available - or bring our sleeping mattress for the floor. BYO Sheets, towels etc

This event is proudly presented at Falls Creek by the Birkebeiner Nordic Ski Club and has been offered since 1989 and is run by volunteers as a day out on xc skis for women! Ski De Femme offers free cross country skiing instruction in small groups for both novice and intermediate skiers in a choice of classical or skating techniques. The clinics are fun and a great way for women of all abilities to learn and get into cross country skiing. click the picture below for more info (its last years poster but it will take you this years event and I will update it when it becomes available.)

Dont worry guys men will be looked after on the day as well!

But if snowshoeing is more your cup of tea then...

The club has a couple of sets of snowshoes which were given an extensive workout last season. Participants share the costs of resort entry and pooled transport expenses on the day. If further equipment is required on the day we will hire at Windy Corner and share the costs.
