This walk begins on the Murray River at the Hovell Tree in Hovell Tree Park, Albury; and is the first of 4 parts to the Albury section of the H & H trail. The next 3 parts will follow over the next few weeks. The walk takes us through South and East Albury, then up to the top of Eastern Hill for some pretty good views and a morning tea break. Then we head down to Mungabareena Reserve and take the track out to the Riverina Hwy (Hume Dam Rd).

dogs OK; but remember this is a car pooling event so please respect the cars of fellow walkers.

Meet at the Hovell Tree (near the Albury swimming pool), at 9.00am (new winter start time).

Car shuffling best managed by moving required cars out to the cnr of Mungabareena Road and the Riverina Hwy via Doctors Point Rd to avoid early morning traffic congestion. Returning to Hovell Tree Park after the walk is best via Borella Rd.

Bring  a morning tea snack.

Toilets at Hovell Tree Park, Browns Lagoon, Eastern Hill carpark, Mungabareena Reserve and Harvey Norman complex.

coffee and cake or lunch afterwards for those interested.

Any late cancellations please call me on 0456 100 183.
