This walk starts and finishes at Dead Horse Gap near Thredbo in the Snowy Mountains. Meet at Bunnings car park Wodonga at 8am on Friday 11th Dec and drive to  Dead Horse Gap from where we will walk up the Thredbo River valley to historical Teddy’s Hut and camp overnight. From Dead Horse Gape we walk along the Cascade Track for about 2 km and after crossing the Bridge we walk along the Thredbo River to the Hut, build in 1948.There may be a Brumby track we can follow but no guarantee. Saturday we will day walk to explore the area south and east of the hut and return to Teddys for another overnight camp. Sunday we will return to the cars via Chimneys Mountain peaks. The walk encompasses track, single trail, brumby pads, cross-country walking and rock scrambling. Teddy’s Hut is a rarely visited mountain hut with alpine valleys, mountain passes and peaks with exceptional views of Rams Head and the Main Range.
