Wooragee to Beechworth Rail Trail. 10km. Grade 3

Meeting 8 am at Wooragee School. Car Poole event
We  drive to Kibell Lane where we drop some cars and come back to Wooragee to start the walk. 
Dog friendly
Lunch, Coffee, Cake, retail Shopping therapy bevor going back to Wooragee.
This is a halve day walk but we will linger a lot longer in Beechworth.
Bring Snacks Water for the walk. Lunch for after the walk will stay in the cars at Kibbel lane
 
 
 
 

Due to COVID-19 health requirements, members must provide their own sanitisers, gloves, wipes, masks, 

Normal social distancing rules will apply. If 1.5m cannot be maintained then a mask needs to be worn. 
 
 

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Track may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.

Day Walking

  • Current Medical Information Form FOUND ON THE WEBSITE HERE
  • Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves and hat
  • Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event 
  • Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
  • Wet weather waterproofs, jacket and pants
  • Walking poles
  • Gaiters
  • Basic first aid kit including your specific medication eg asthma applicator
  • Torch or headlamp for contingencies
