Ever wanted to see the Murray River from another perspective? Dodging snags, sandbanks etc and water very low. Well now's the time to register, and, subject to weather conditions being sunny, we'll meet at the Cumberoona Wharf at Noreuil Park at 9 am on saturday 22 May 2021. If the weather is not suitable we'll postpone for another day. Postponement will be made the day prior and everyone will be personally notified.

Cost $40 for canoe, paddle, pfd hire and transport..

Please register before 9pm on the Wednesday preceding the event

Bring along your lunch and snacks, as we'll pull up for a couple of stops as the going will be reasonably slow. It is also suggested that a fresh change of clothes and towel be in your bag, in case of any mishap.

Jan Douglas will be leading this paddle as she has experienced the Murray multiple times when it's low. Judy is just doing administration side of event.

GRADE 2

Canoeing in mild currents with or without snags.
