Canoe the Murray

As the days are getting longer this week's paddle will start from lower Mungabareena reserve that will make for more time in the water We meet at Cumberoona Wharf Albury at 5-30 to 5-45 pm and get transported to Mungab by Dave. We paddle downstream back to Noreuil Park. Hire of canoes, paddles and personal flotation devices are supplied by Dave Breedon the Canoe Guy from Murray River Canoe Hire at a cost of $10 per person. The paddle will be over by 7-30 pm after which we will have a catered for bbq with byo salads to share at Noreuil Park at a cost of $3 per person. Bookings needed to confirm food to be purchased for the bbq and for Dave to make the necessary transport and hire arrangements. Please check the club's Canoeing Policy to ensure compliance with our safety regulations.
