Canoe the Murray

After work Canoeing is back! There will be a regular program of after work paddles on Thursday evenings during the 2012-2013 daylight savings period. We meet at Cumberoona Wharf Albury at 5-30 to 5-45 pm and get transported to Donkey Farm or the Waterworks from where we paddle downstream back to Noreuil Park or get picked up again - transport , hire of canoes, paddles and personal flotation devices are supplied by Dave Breedon the Canoe Guy from Murray River Canoe Hire at a cost of $10 per person. The paddle will be over by 7pm after which we will have a catered for bbq with byo salads to share at Noreuil Park at a cost of $3 per person. Bookings needed to confirm food to be purchased for the bbq and for Dave to make the necessary transport and hire arrangements. Please check the club's Canoeing Policy to ensure compliance with our safety regulations.
